The Crandall Canyon Mine Tragedy

Tim Harper is a coal miner located in central Utah. For the last 20 years, he has worked as a Longwall Maintenance Coordinator for Utah American Energy, Inc., repairing and maintaining heavy-duty equipment; including multi-million dollar machines and the longwall.

Personally, Tim has two daughters, Frankie and Miley. He's married to his sweetheart, Mary. And is the stepfather to her three children, Christian, and Jessica, and the host of Unfiltered Discussions, Brian.

In Tim's spare time, he loves to ride his Harley, travel and is a proud member of the local Elk's Lodge. 

Tim joins Unfiltered Discussions to discuss a tragedy in 2007 at the Crandall Canyon Mine, formerly the Grenwal Mine.
